Lisa Basumatari has taken on the role of Head – Human Resources for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein at PVH Arvind Fashions Limited. In this position, she will oversee talent management, organizational development, leadership capability building, employee engagement, and workforce strategy for the two brands in India.
Basumatari assumes the position after serving as Head of Talent and Organizational Development at Arvind Fashions Limited. In that role, she was responsible for driving talent strategy, leadership development, and people transformation initiatives across the organization.
With experience spanning multiple industries, including fashion, retail, media, banking, quick-service restaurants, and learning consultancy, she has developed expertise across talent management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, campus relations, employee development, and people strategy.
Prior to this appointment, Basumatari held senior human resources positions at McDonald’s, including General Manager – People Resources and Deputy General Manager – People Resources. During her tenure, she supported people strategy and HR operations within the quick-service restaurant sector.
Earlier, she served as Head – Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Campus Relations at SMEcorner, where she led employee capability-building initiatives, talent development programs, and campus engagement efforts.
Her professional journey also includes leadership and specialist roles at Reliance Retail, RBL Bank, Viacom18 Media, Lee Hecht Harrison, TraininginCorporate, Synergy Relationship Management Services, and The Learning Canvas. Across these organizations, she built experience in organizational development, learning strategy, talent management, and HR capability building.
In her new role, Basumatari will oversee the human resources agenda for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein under PVH Arvind Fashions, supporting talent development, leadership capability building, and employee engagement initiatives across the businesses.
