Heritage Environmental Services (HES), an EQT Infrastructure portfolio company, has announced the appointment of Rachel Evans as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In her new position, Rachel Evans will lead the development and execution of HES's HR strategies, focusing on attracting and retaining top talent, advancing succession planning, and cultivating a workplace culture that fosters employee engagement. She will also oversee performance management, promote diversity and equal opportunity, and utilize HR technology to enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Rachel Evans served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at MITER Brands, following their acquisition of PGT Innovations. Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at both Fortune Brands Doors and Security and MasterBrand Cabinets. Over the course of her career, Rachel has successfully guided seven corporate acquisitions, demonstrating her expertise in seamlessly integrating HR processes and driving substantial business success.
With her over 28 years of leadership experience and a record of transforming cultures, and business units, and implementing strategies, her leadership will play a critical role in ensuring stability during this transitional phase while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
