Vertiv, a global leader in digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has announced the appointment of Frank Poncheri as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
As CHRO, Poncheri will oversee Vertiv’s HR initiatives, ensuring they align with the company’s broader strategic goals. His responsibilities will go beyond traditional HR functions, with a focus on driving excellence in talent acquisition and employee development.
In this role, Poncheri will report directly to CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi and take on a critical role in shaping and executing Vertiv’s HR strategy.

Poncheri brings a strong academic background to the role, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources from The Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business. With over 15 years of experience in HR and corporate strategy, Frank Poncheri brings a strong focus on global employee development, talent management, and fostering a high-performance culture. Before joining Vertiv, he held several leadership positions at Owens Corning, including Vice President of HR and Corporate Integration and Divisional HR Director, during his 10-year tenure in the United States and Finland. Poncheri’s career began at GE Aerospace, where he completed their rigorous HR Leadership Program before advancing into HR roles.
