ProTrans, a US-based transportation and logistics company, has appointed Jeremy O'Brien as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.
In his new role at ProTrans, O'Brien will lead people and talent strategy and collaborate with senior leadership to strengthen the company's position in the US logistics industry. He brings approximately 25 years of HR leadership experience across various industries in emerging markets.
In his LinkedIn post, O'Brien reflected on his career journey, acknowledging the influence of several notable CEOs, including Diane Gomez-Thinnes, Ujjwal Kumar, Curt Hutchins, and John Guttery. He credited their innovative and entrepreneurial approaches, operational excellence, and authentic leadership with shaping his professional path. O'Brien's academic credentials include a Global MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a postgraduate certificate in Executive Coaching from the College of Executive Coaching, and a BA degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. Prior to this appointment, he served as COO and CHRO at O'Brien Diaz Wealth Architects and Strickland Brothers Oil Change. His previous roles include Head of HR at Galderma, Vice President of HR at Honeywell, and Group Vice President of HR at Eaton. O'Brien has also held key HR positions at Ecolab, CNH/Fiat Industrial, Kohler Co., and Kimberly-Clark.
O’Brain’s diverse experience while working in multi-cultural environments in both mature and emerging markets would be great for ProTrans to grow business results, improve leadership capabilities, and outpace the competition.
