Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, has appointed Katherine Beardman as Vice President of Human Resources for the Analytical Services Division. In her new role, Katherine will partner with the global analytical laboratory services, including Pharmaceutical GMP testing, Central Laboratory, Vaccine, and Bio-Analytical testing services, to drive and support HR initiatives.
Katherine Beardman brings deep and comprehensive experience, having previously led initiatives across multiple regions, advanced strategic business decisions, launched company-wide programs, and fostered an inclusive environment. In this role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she will support the company's mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by accelerating life sciences research, solving complex analytical challenges, increasing productivity in laboratories, and improving patient health through diagnostics and life-changing therapies.
She previously served as Head of People & Organization for Europe & International (APMA, Japan & China) Regions at Novartis Gene Therapies. Before her role at Novartis Gene Therapies, Katherine was Associate Director of Business Human Resources at AbbVie. Katherine's career also includes significant roles at Micron Technology, where she served as Director of Talent Planning, Acquisition, Integration, and Diversity & Inclusion and has held leadership positions at AbbVie and Abbott Laboratories, where she directed global expatriate and relocation programs, launched HRIS platforms, and managed talent acquisition activities.
