Andreas Neumann is presently incumbent as one of the members of the Board of Managing Directors and is responsible for the human resources at Boehringer Ingelheim. He joined the company in the year 2011 and was made a member of the Managing Directors Board in October 2015. At this position, he is in charge of the Human Resources Corporate Board Division. He is a fully qualified lawyer and earlier used to manage the department of Corporate Division Legal. Since the year 2015, he has an added responsibility of the department of Corporate Division Human Resources.

Prior to working with the Boehringer Ingelheim, he has worked with Stinnes AG in the position of Legal Counsel, at General Counsel GE Health Care in the position serving different functionalities, and in the position of Global Legal Integration Leader- the last two positions with the General Electric.
