Jory A. Berson is the Chief Human Resources Officer, Capital One Financial Corporation. He has been serving this position since June 2009. He has earlier served as the Financial Services- President with the company from 2007 to 2009. Under his able supervision, the company has emerged as the biggest issuer of credit cards in the US. He has been instrumental in leading and managing major initiatives of card business such as marketing, operations, and credit management.
Berson previously presided in the position of the company’s US Card Business- Head since 2006 and also worked as its President. In these positions, he was responsible for leading teams of over 10,000 associates which he did splendidly owing to his robust technical expertise and operational efficiency. He is currently also a member since 1992 of the company’s Credit Card Leadership Team.
