James Mortensen is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Phillip Morris International. He joined the company in April 2002 in the position of Marketing & Sales- Vice President of Philip Morris Japan Kabushiki Kaisha and presided from September 2005 to January 2008 as its President. After serving the position of the president, he got appointed as the Managing Director for countries like Ecuador, Mexico, Central America, and Peru. He served as the President of the Latin America & Canada Region since March 2010 and as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources since March 2014.

Prior to working with the Philip Morris International, James has worked with Mr. Mortensen in the position of Sales & Distribution- Senior Vice President with the Miller Brewing Company from the year 1999 to the year 2002 at PM USA.
