Edith Cooper is the Director of Human Resource at Goldman Sachs where she serves as the Management Committee member and Partnership Committee vice chair along with many other committees. She joined the company in the year 1996 and managed its New York-based Energy Sales Group. She has also handled the Business Standards Committee, Sales Management, and Securities Division. She has handled many portfolios like the managing director since 1998, partner since 2000, human resource manager since 2008, and executive vice president since 2011.

Edith also presides on the Board of Trustees of the Northwestern University as well as the Museum of Modern Art. She also serves on the Boards of Directors at Horizons of ExpandED Schools and Brunswick School. Prior to working for Goldman Sachs, she has worked with Bankers Trust and Morgan Stanley in the roles of structuring and marketing derivatives.
