Mayerland Harris is the Senior Vice President- Human Resources, H-E-B. She is in charge of over 50 human resources professionals comprising of recruiters, administrative staff, field managers, development managers and training managers. She is responsible for implementation of best human resources policies and programs related to employee relations, employment, benefits, training, employee assistance, and compensation. She has been instrumental in the management of over 75 H-E-B stores and their human resources functions as well as the Central Market Division and the manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation divisions.
She has also completed the SPHR certification. She has over 26 years of experience in retail, store operations, and human resources which have helped her evolve into an effective leader and influential team builder.
