Monica Alessandra Possa joined the Generali Group from RCS media in 2004 as the HR director, group human resources. She has earlier worked at RCS Media from 2004 where she was Director, Group HR, and Organization. She had also been at Omnitel (later named Vodafone) from 1999, in several roles, including heading HR functions for Italy and southern Europe and the People Practices Head for the SEMEA region. Monica was also in the Boston Consulting Group as a Management Consultant from 1994, responsible for strategic organizations projects for clients in the consumer goods industry across Europe. Her first job was as a Consultant with Gemini Consulting in 1990, after in research and teaching at Bocconi University, Milan from 1989 to 1990.

During her tenure at RCS, she was a Board Member at DADA S.P.A., Unidad Editorial S.A, Secretary of the RCS Media Group Remuneration committee along with being a Trustee of the Vodafone Group Foundation.
