Henri Blaffart is presently incumbent as the Executive Vice President & Group Head of HR and Corporate Services, ArcelorMittal. He joined the group in 1982 as the Director of strategy, research, and development (R&D) based in Liege. Moreover, he has served in other positions as well such as Construction- Research and Development (R&D) Director and CEO of the research division of the former Arcelor.    

Prior to working with ArcelorMittal, Henri used to work as the Human Resources Head of the management committee for the Flat Carbon Europe segment of ArcelorMittal since April 2000. Formerly, he has also served as the CEO of ArcelorMittal based in Lorraine, France, the operation for which he has also served as the Head, as the Human Resources Head since April 2013, and as Corporate Services Head for capital goods, legal, IT council, and shipping.
