Mary Ann Miller is the CHRO for Avnet, Inc., in addition to being it’s head of corporate marketing and communications.

As a Senior VP reporting to the company’s CEO, she is a corporate officer in addition to being an Avnet Executive board member. She is in charge of leading global human resources and organizational development, corporate communications and marketing and their overall strategic placement to Avnet’s various initiatives across the world.

In her previous roles at Avnet, Mary has she has been the SVP in global HR, and the VP of talent and organizational effectiveness prior to that. In these roles, she was responsible for global Talent Management, performance management and employee development. Mary was awarded the Avnet’s Chairman’s Award in 2009 for her leadership and team growth in people practices across the company.

Mary was VP-HR of Electronic Systems at Goodrich Corporation- a $6.4 bn aircraft systems and services multinational conglomerate before she joined Avnet. She oversaw the people practices of over 7, 000 people across the world, in this role.

Mary has over 25 years of experience in HR and Operations Management and is also certified by the Hudson Institute of Coaching.
