Mototsugu Sato is the Senior Managing Director, Panasonic Corporation since April 1, 2016, and serves as the Chief human resources officer. He has previously been the Managing Director in Planning, BPR Projects, Business Creation Project & Panasonic Spin-up Fund too. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Ult Holdings Inc. During his stint at Panasonic, Sato was Executive Officer of Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. since April 2010 and has also served as its Director of Financial Management Department ever since 2010. He is the Director of Global Strategic Planning Office and Lighting Manufacturing Business Unit at Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. since March 2010 and has served as its Director of Lighting Devices Business Control Operations. Sato is the Representative Director at Panasonic Corporation since June 2014.
