Betsy Sutter has been working with VMware since January 2001 and has managed almost all the VMware's people strategies aspects and is currently working as the Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer with the company. She has over 15 years of experience working with the company during which she has helped shape the employee experience and culture. Moreover, she has supervised the acquisition of almost 40 companies. She has helped the present company grow from 100 to over 19,000 employees.
Prior to working with VMware, Sutter used to work with Digital Equipment Corporation, Silicon Gaming, Intersil, Aehr Test Systems, and General Electric. She has more than 25 years of leading the human resources during which she has managed the hiring, development, and the retention of employees
