Leena Nair is currently the Chief Human Resource Officer at Unilever. Before this role, she has served in different positions with the company such as the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion and the Global Senior Vice President for Leadership and Organizational Development. She completely altered the face of the company with her robust diversity agenda and efficient leadership skills that placed the company on a record high employer brand value. Under her able guidance, the company evolved into a center of world-class leadership.

Leena started her career with the company in 1992 as a trainee. She was instrumental in many transformative steps such as the Program called Career by Choice for women who left jobs for certain reasons to restart the career again. She has many firsts to her name such as the first woman to do a factory stint, the first woman on the HUL’s management committee, the youngest executive director in the company’s history, and the youngest person and the first female ever as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Unilever.
