Melissa Howell is the current Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources with the Kellogg Company. He has been serving in this position since June 2016. She is also currently serving as one of the members of the Global Leadership team of the company.

Prior to joining the Kellogg Company, Howell used to work with the Michigan-based Wolverine in the position of the Chief Human Resource Officer and with General Motors in the leadership role where she served for 24 years and handled 2,800 global human resources professionals. She joined the latter company in the position of Labor Relations Representative at the Ypsilanti, Michigan-based assembly plant. She got promoted to the ranks of the North American Human Resources- Executive Director and Global Human Resources- Senior Vice President.
