Olivier has been a Schneider Electric employee since 1993. He started in 1993 as an engineer in marketing and then moved to the commercial unknit in France. Here he has held various positions, including Sales Engineer and Vice Director of the country’s sales. He was appointed Secretary of the Executive Committee in 2001, while simultaneously being given the responsibility as Global Company Vice President.
His career expanded significantly when he moved to China in 2003 as Final low Voltage Activity Director and then was nominated for the Chief role in Marketing and Strategy for China in 2006.
He has also served as the MD and president of Schneider India.
By the conclusion of 2012, he was appointed EVP of the global retail division at Schneider. Today, Blum is the EVP and CHRO besides being a member of the Executive Committee from as early as 2014.
