A dynamic leader and a seasoned thought leader, Susan Podlogar is the executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Metlife. She is steering the company’s global human resource strategies. Among many other feathers in her cap is the Johnson & Johnson’s global transition that featured new compensation plans and a new consistent performance and development standards for the company’s 128,000 employees. She is a pioneer in bringing new work-life practices to meet the requirements of a changing workforce.
Responsible for overseeing the global HR strategies and practice of the company, she has rich experience in the sector and corporate leadership roles in HR where she has looked to evolve talent capabilities and adopt consistent performance and development standards. She is committed to mentoring the next generation of HR professionals and often lectures on HR subjects at universities. A supporter of the arts and arts education, she served as a trustee of the State Theatre of New Jersey from 2010-2017.
