Having led a number of key human resources initiatives, including efforts to improve diversity at all levels, development and training programs, and redesigned corporate and executive compensation, John M Steele has served HCA for nearly 25 years. As the Senior VP HR, he is responsible for recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, labor relations, employee development, and HR administration. He serves on the boards of Family and Children’s Services, HR Policy Association, and the Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film, among others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Eastern Michigan University.
