Elizabeth B Amato has served at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) for well over a decade. She has previously been the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organization, with global responsibility for UTC’s Human Resources and Communications functions. She received the YWCA Women Achievers Award and is currently a member of the National Academy of Human Resources CHRO Board Academy and the Wake Forest College Board of Visitors. She a bachelor’s degree in political science from Davidson College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut.    

She joined the company- United Technologies in 1985 where she has held different positions and responsibilities of the company’s Human Resources Management and Communications functions. She was also involved at Pratt & Whitney in leadership positions across commercial building systems and aerospace divisions and as Human Resources- Vice President of the company’s Climate, Controls & Security.
